At REVEL, we honor individuals without whom Cincinnati Shakespeare Company would not exist with the annual Globe Award. Previous honorees include Otto M. Budig, Jr., Margaret and Michael Valentine, Calvin and Patricia Linnemann, Richard Westheimer, Don Tecklenburg, Elizabeth “Lib” Stone, Vicky Reynolds, Jeanne Golliher, D. Lynn Meyers, and Bill McKim. This season, we are proud to honor two extraordinary champions of CSC: Glenn and Cassandra Plott.
When the CSC Board and Staff reflected on those who have made a truly transformational impact on the organization, Glenn and Cassandra Plott were an undeniable choice. For nearly 30 years, they have been devoted patrons, generous donors, and steadfast advocates for our work. Glenn’s leadership as Board President helped guide the organization through pivotal moments of challenge, growth, and change; together, he and Cass have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to CSC’s mission and future.
Their impact is both visible and deeply felt. For more than two decades, Glenn and Cassandra have served as Opening Night Sponsors, helping to ensure that each production begins with celebration and momentum. Their visionary philanthropy also made possible the founding of CSC’s Sensory Friendly Performances, expanding access to live theater for audiences who benefit from a more welcoming and inclusive environment.
Through their generosity, leadership, and enduring belief in CSC, Glenn and Cassandra Plott have helped shape the organization in profound and lasting ways. We are honored to celebrate their legacy and their remarkable contributions with this year’s Globe Award.
