Project Prospero is the natural—and necessary—next chapter in CSC’s story. Conceived as the completion of the original campus vision, it transforms an empty parcel into a community arts and education center that unlocks everything the company is already poised to do. This is not a departure from CSC’s mission. It is its fullest expression.
Finishing What We Started
A Community arts and education space for Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will include:
18,000 square feet of artistic, educational, support, and patron space.
150-seat Studio Theater with flexible, configurable seating.
3 multi-purpose spaces for rehearsals, classrooms, and events.
Multi-point connection to current building to maximize operational efficiency.
At the heart of Project Prospero is a 150-seat flexible studio theater. This unique performance space gives CSC the ability to program with intention: matching the right work to the right room, extending successful productions, incubating new voices, and deepening community partnerships.
