At REVEL, we honor an individual without whom Cincinnati Shakespeare Company would not exist with the annual Globe Award. Previous honorees include Calvin and Patricia Linnemann, Richard Westheimer, Otto M. Budig, Jr., Elizabeth “Lib” Stone, Vicky Reynolds, Jeanne Golliher, D. Lynn Meyers, and Bill McKim. This 30th Anniversary Season, we are proud to honor a dedicated patron, longtime supporter, and dear friend: Don Tecklenburg.
When the CSC Board and Staff considered people who have made an extraordinary impact on Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Don Tecklenburg was an irrefutable choice for this year’s honoree. A dedicated patron and donor since 2007, Don served three terms on the CSC Board of Trustees, including a term as Board President—an instrumental role during our $17.5MM Capital Campaign to build a brand new theater in Downtown Cincinnati.
Don’s career has spanned a variety of roles in finance and accounting, including a stint as the Business Manager for the Cincinnati Reds; Vice Chancellor and CFO at Antioch College, and the Homer E. White Foundation Associate Professor of Accounting at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Individual tickets start at $125, a portion of which may be recognized as a tax-deductible donation to Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
Supporter tickets include complimentary valet, festive libations and dinner-by-the-bite in the Linnemann Family Lobby, Upper Gallery seats at the performance of The Play That Goes Wrong, dessert, and other surprises throughout the evening. Benefactor tickets include everything at the Supporter level, with seating for the performance in the Lower Gallery. A limited number of Champion tickets include everything at the Supporter level plus seating for the performance in the Lower Gallery Center as well as recognition from the stage the night of the event.
Unlike other galas you might have attended, there are no traditional “tables” for ticketed guests. Dinner by the bite will be passed throughout the Lobby before the show and the entertainment portion of the evening will be a performance of The Play That Goes Wrong.
We do have a limited number of dedicated tables available for REVEL sponsors. Sponsorships start at $2,500 and you can learn more about levels and benefits at the “Sponsorships” tab.
Yes! If you are interested in sponsoring the event, either through your company or as a Community Host, please email Sara.Clark@cincyshakes.com. You will receive dedicated table seating for your guests and your entire party will be seated together inside the theater for the performance.
REVEL and Rollick is black tie optional or festive cocktail attire.
