Join us on one of our Donor Trips and experience theatre, art, culture, and conversation with your fellow patrons, donors, and even a few artists from CSC. Best of all, our Donor Trips are fundraising events designed to help support Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. This means that a portion of your travel fee may be recognized as a charitable contribution to CSC.

Stratford Festival: June 2025
Located in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, they are North America’s largest classical repertory theatre company. Each season, they present a dozen or more productions in four distinctive venues. They produce classics, contemporary dramas and musicals, with special emphasis on the plays of Shakespeare.

Pricing is $4,700 per guest or $8,900 per couple. A deposit of $500 per guest is kindly requested by February 1, 2025 to reserve your space, with final payment due by April 1, 2025.

London: June 2023
On our inaugural London theatre tour, we embarked on an immersive journey into the world of Shakespeare and the arts. We stayed at The Dilly in the heart of London's West End, seconds away from St James's, Piccadilly Circus, and Leicester Square. Our adventure together began with a warm welcome dinner at Gunpowder Tower Bridge, setting the stage for an exciting week ahead. The following day, we delved into Shakespearean history with a guided tour of Shakespeare’s Globe, enjoyed afternoon tea at The Swan while conversing with Dr. Niamh O’Leary, and attended a matinee performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Our trip continued with a captivating day-trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon, where we explored Shakespeare’s birthplace, dined at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Rooftop Restaurant, and watched a matinee of Hamnet. Back in London, we embarked on a Walking Tour of Shakespeare’s London, discovering historic sites and the legacy of his plays.
On our free day, we had the chance to explore on our own before enjoying a West End evening performance of Patriots. Our final day was a blend of relaxation and theatre, featuring a farewell brunch at The Ivy Soho Brasserie, a matinee of Oklahoma! at Wyndham’s Theatre, and a dazzling evening performance of Cabaret at Playhouse Theatre, complete with charcuterie and champagne. Overall, the trip was a rich tapestry of theatre, history, and culture, celebrating the magic of London’s theatrical heritage.
London: June 2024
On our second London theatre and literary tour, we began with a warm welcome back at The Dilly, followed by a delightful dinner at The Anchor overlooking the River Thames. Our first evening featured a lively performance of Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre.
The next day, we enjoyed a fascinating backstage tour of Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and later attended an evening performance of The Cherry Orchard at Donmar Warehouse. Our cultural exploration continued with a backstage tour of the National Theatre on Wednesday, where we also watched the matinee performance of London Tide.
Thursday was a day steeped in literary history as we traced the footsteps of Dickens and Shakespeare on a Walking Tour of Literary London. We savored afternoon tea at the Swan before enjoying a matinee performance of The Taming of the Shrew at Shakespeare’s Globe.
On Friday, we embarked on a day-trip to Oxford, exploring the historic Bodleian Library and enjoying a group lunch at No. 1 Ship Street. We had some free time to explore Oxford before our late-afternoon return to London.
Our final day featured a matinee performance of The Hills of California at the Harold Pinter Theatre, followed by a farewell dinner at Brasserie Zedel, capping off a week full of theatre, history, and literary exploration.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival: September 2024
Our first-ever stateside Donor Trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival was a delightful five-day immersion into theatre and culture, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Rogue Valley. Founded in 1935, the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is among the oldest and largest professional non-profit theatres in the nation. Annually, OSF presents a rotating repertory season of up to 10 plays and musicals, including illuminating interpretations of Shakespeare, other enduring classics, and new works.
We began our journey with arrival in Ashland, OR, and checked into The Stratford Inn, a charming boutique hotel with stunning views and a prime location near downtown and the OSF theaters. We kicked off our trip with a pre-show discussion of Much Ado About Nothing and enjoyed a group dinner at Chateaubriand 36 before attending the evening performance of the play at the Allen Elizabethan Theatre.
Wednesday was dedicated to a wonderful Wine and Food Tour, featuring a picnic lunch and visits to local cheese, chocolate, and bread shops as well as tours and tastings at three local wineries. In the evening, we had a pre-show discussion of Jane Eyre before dining at Alchemy and enjoying the performance of the play in the Allen Elizabethan Theatre.
On Thursday, we had lunch at Brickroom and attended a matinee performance of Born with Teeth in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. The evening was free for us to explore Ashland on our own.
Friday, included a campus tour of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival grounds and a matinee performance of Macbeth in the Angus Bowmer Theatre, followed by a post-show talkback session. We wrapped up the day with a group dinner at Osteria La Briccola.
Our final day featured a pre-show discussion of Coriolanus and a matinee performance in the Thomas Theatre. We concluded our enriching trip with a farewell dinner at Larks Home Kitchen, celebrating the memorable experiences shared throughout our visit.
