Ushers/House Managers

Over 25,000 patrons come to see a mainstage production at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company every year and we expect that number to grow substantially this season! We are committed to make every visit a fun and memorable experience. Our dedicated volunteers contribute their time and talents to help us achieve an elegant and friendly atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back to each and every show.
These individuals welcome patrons with a smile, provide programs for the production, assist in seating, answer questions, and provide a concierge service that is unbeatable. Our volunteers should hold themselves to the same level of professional reputation and integrity as all members of staff as they are representing CSC in the public eye. All house managers are required to attend a general orientation which will include safety and evacuation training. Benefits include behind the scene sneak peeks, free admission to the show, invitations to the production process, and more!

Special Events

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company has a number of annual events in which volunteer staff are an integral part of the success. Every event has its own variety of duties required. Events include Season Announcements Parties, Revel Galas, PROJECT38 Festival, among others. Benefits include behind the scenes sneak peeks, free admission to events, and more!
